Community Rules & Guidelines
By joining the group it will be assumed that you either consent to being filmed and photographed for social media/websites/promotional content or you acknowledge and accept responsibility for avoiding the camera if you prefer not to appear in any videos or photos. Once content is captured, unfortunately, it cannot be edited or removed.

Confidentiality First: Keep shared personal stories, photos, and group chats strictly confidential.

No Screenshots: Never capture or share private online conversations outside the group.

Profile Authenticity: Members must use real names and recognizable photos for safety.

Zero Harassment: Bullying, discrimination, or hate speech results in an immediate ban.

Report Red Flags: Alert organizers immediately about creepy, unsafe, or suspicious behavior.
🚫 Strict No-Selling Policy

Zero Commercial Content: No business pitches, multi-level marketing (MLMs), or product selling.

No Promotional Links: Do not share links to your business websites or social media pages.

Survey Links: Avoid posting market research, academic surveys, or feedback forms without prior permission.

No Private Pitching: Do not direct-message (DM) members to sell services or products.

Job Posts Excepted: Sharing open employment opportunities at your company is allowed.
💬 Online & Chat Behavior

Supportive Tone Only: Focus conversations on building friendships and lifting each other up.

Content Warning (CW): Label sensitive topics (e.g., loss, health) so members can opt-in.

No Gossip or Drama: Keep online discussions positive, constructive.

No promotions or invitations to outside events or trips without prior approval from admin as these may clash with planned or in-planning Galavanting events and can cause confusion among members. This space is strictly for conversation, support and updates around Galavanting events and not for obtaining attendees to outside events. Invitations should only be shared via private message between members who have already established a connection.

Be Present: Limit phone distractions during meetups to focus on real-world connections.

Inclusivity at Events: Make an effort to talk to new faces and include everyone in conversations.

Splitting Bills: Pay for your own food and drinks unless explicitly stated otherwise.
🛠️ Group Administration

Moderator Discretion: Admins reserve the right to delete posts that break rules.

Removal Policy: Repeatedly violating the no-selling or safety rules after previous warnings results in immediate removal.

Members who are inactive, either by not contributing or attending events will unfortunately be removed from the main chat rooms after 1 month of inactivity. You will still have access to the announcements and event chat groups that you have registered for.
